About me
I’m in love with the outdoors! I use every free minute to get out in nature. It all started in Bavaria/Germany where I grew up and lived until my early 30’s. When I moved to Ireland in 2018 I soaked up Ireland’s nature. Every weekend you can find me somewhere on coastal and forest walks or hiking the Irish hills and mountains and enjoy the amazing views (or not if the “views” are covered in mist 😉). Rain and cold don’t matter to me as long as I ’m on the move. After all, it’s all about the right clothing and equipment.
I have done walks and hikes all around Ireland in any weather condition. Errigal in Donegal in absolute stormy conditions, Galtees in a cloud inversion, Carrauntoohill in amazing weather, Lugnaquilla in ice and snow… anything is possible. Next to the hills, the coast is my favourite place to be. I find it relaxing to walk down a beach or a cliff walk and listen to the waves and the sounds of nature. But it’s also the little walks in Ireland's mystical forests where fairies could be found in every tree and trolls under every little stoney bridge.
