The hike starts at St. Peter's Church in Drogheda, along the Boyne, on quiet countryside roads and will arrive at Mellifont Abbey after ca. 12 kms. After a break to regain our energy levels, we slowly return to Drogheda via the village of Tullyallen and along the Boyne Greenway. There will be plenty of time for breaks and having some snacks in between.
